Sunday, February 13

Sunday morning was rough for our family.  We were all thoroughly exhausted, but Micah had a hard time with jetlag and kept waking us all up several times that night.

We went to church at Hillcrest and afterward we walked up to our old house and enjoyed some special memories.

Our old house on the school compound.  So many things have changed and it looks very empty.

Calvin and Kinsley standing by the Mango tree.  It was such a versatile tree...

Aaron and Stacey in his Guava tree.

As a child I used to day dream of one day having my kids climb my Guava tree.
It was an amazing experience to actually see that dream come true!

Bottom: Brandon playing on the same tires I played on as a kid
In the afternoon, after lunch time, Mom, Stacey, Bryan and I stayed at the house to take naps, watch kids and make bierrocks while everyone else headed out to Rayfield to do some sailing.  Someone (won't mention any names here ;)) lost the rudder and the afternoon of sailing came to an abrupt end.  Uncle Al and Auntie Jackie were out at the lake as well.

Soaking up the fun and sun at Rayfield.

The evening was spent enjoying fresh bierrocks on the back veranda, playing with the kids, getting ready to go to Yankari and family devotions.

Back at the house, Kinsley didn't want to take much of a nap, so Mom put him on her back for awhile and he fell asleep.  As soon as she tried laying him down, he woke up again.  So Stacey decided to give it a try, but instead of taking him off her back, she just layed down as well to enjoy her book.

It was a wonderful day full of memories and laughter!!
