Day 5: Seal Beach

Tuesday we went up the coast a couple miles to Seal Beach, hoping the waves wouldn't be as large and the slope in to the ocean more "flat".  Neither was meant to be, but we had fun anyway.

Being a goof-ball!

Grandma bought the boys special "beach" towels.  Somehow I never got one of Micah in his.

Lunch on the beach = sandy lunch.

Such a good Bumpa!  After throwing a rather large two-year-old Mom-shouldn't-be-leaving-me-to-go-swimming-with-daddy tantrum, Bumpa finally got Micah settled down for a good nap.

Cheryl, Andrew, Bryan and Mom (in the front) all heading out to go boogie boarding.

Love this picture.  Andrew and Bryan (neither terribly short) looking up at a rather tall wave...hmmm..."What should we do? Ride or dive?"

Running out of energy in the hot sun, but still enjoying playing in the sand.

After a full day playing on the beach, we were all a little sun burned, terribly sandy, but there were smiles on all our faces.  It was a good day.
