Brandon knows the routine...
- Daddy walks in the door after work and says hi to his kiddos.
- Daddy goes to Mommy for a hug and kiss and a debriefing of our days.
- Brandon goes to play until supper is ready then he may talk Daddy's head off with all he has to tell.
But even though he knows the routine, he fights it every day. Usually Bryan has to tell him, "Brandon, this is Mommy's time. I will talk to you in a minute but right now you need to go play."
Tonight, Brandon met Bryan at the door very excited. Bryan talked to him for a second then came into the kitchen to talk to me. Brandon climbed up on the kitchen stool and proceeded to tell his daddy all about his train books that he got to borrow from the libary today. He got as far as, "And I got train books...AWWW MAAAN!" Bryan had proceeded to give me a kiss...he knew it was Mommy's time.
It brought a good chuckle to the end of our day.
