2011 has been a year of learning hard trust, deeper trust, and restful trust for our family. We have learned to look for God's blessings in areas where we may not have seen them before. We have learned that even when we do not see solutions, we can trust that God sees the whole picture and only has our good in mind.
Whether 2012 will be an "easy" year or a "difficult" year, our prayer for you as well as ourselves is that we might learn to have eyes wide open to see God's abundant blessings, whether easy to see or seemingly hidden. And no matter what life brings in 2012, may we be more of a blessing and light to others than we were in 2011.
Open our eyes, Lord, that we might see YOU and glorify your name in 2012.
